Although Vegan Fox products have been tested for safety, there is a risk of allergy with every cosmetic product. When using a new cosmetic product, such as a face cream, we recommend testing it on the skin of your hand (forearm) or chin. If no allergic reaction is observed after 24 hours, there's a good chance you won't experience any problems with daily use!
For oily skin, we recommend the cleansing foam for oily skin and the moisturizing face cream.
For dry skin, we recommend the cleansing foam for dry skin and the nourishing face cream.
Ingredients
Because the products contain many natural ingredients—oils, butters, and plant extracts—preservatives are required in minimal concentrations to prevent spoilage and keep them stored at room temperature. We use less than 1% phenoxyethanol in our face and body products. It's a safe preservative with antibacterial properties, ensuring that the products are safe to use after opening and won't harbor bacteria. This preservative is used by many natural beauty manufacturers, but we want to find an even better solution and are looking for other natural preservatives. We use less than 0.001% methylisothiazolinone and methylchloroisothiazolinone in the bath products that are rinsed off the body after use. This is a safe preservative that ensures the bath products can be used safely for extended periods.
All our products are free of parabens and other harsh chemicals, but SLES (not to be confused with SLS) is used in small concentrations in our bath products (shower gels, hand soaps, and bath foams), along with aloe vera extract and other ingredients that counteract the effects of SLES and soften the formula. It's a substance with cleansing and foaming properties that we only use in products that are rinsed off the skin with water after use. SLES is neither toxic nor carcinogenic, but it can cause irritation in some people. To date, we have not received any complaints.
We are pleased to say that our products are free from the following ingredients: Parabens, PEG, Triclosan, Sulfates, Mineral Oils, Palm Oil, Petrolatum, Phthalates, GMOs, EDTA, DEA, MEA, TEA.
We source all our raw materials from trusted suppliers in the European Union, where animal testing is prohibited by law. Quality and ethically sourced raw materials are more important to us than their cost!
There are some products to which we do not add any colorings or flavorings. We only use colorings in our products that are also used in food production. Essential oils are added to our products for their beneficial properties; the smell is secondary. We usually use a combination of natural and synthetic fragrances in our products to avoid allergic reactions.
None of our products contain gluten or soy.
