The idea behind Vegan Fox
It all started with a simple question: Which cosmetics are truly vegan? Friends asked for advice on what to buy and what not to buy. Once the exhaustion of trawling through the ingredient lists of natural cosmetics subsided, the simple answer came: We had to make our own, explicitly vegan cosmetics. We just had to pull ourselves together and start a company. Thoughts really do have power, because things just started happening: We met the right people, listened to advice, came up with the first product ideas, the fox came along and claimed its place in the name because it is smart, beautiful, feminine, and very intuitive. So is the fox vegan? – Our fox is, because foxes can be different, just like people.

What distinguishes vegan care products?
Vegan Fox's vegan care products contain carefully selected ingredients that benefit both body care and the environment. They avoid animal-derived additives such as elastin, creatine, lanolin, beeswax, honey, glycogen, and collagen. Parabens, silicones, microplastics, and other harmful substances are also avoided, so the products can be used safely and with a clear conscience. Instead of animal-based ingredients, Vegan Fox uses valuable plant-based alternatives for its vegan and natural care products. For example, olive oil or coconut oil are used instead of beeswax to care for and nourish the skin.
Another key feature of vegan care products is the absence of animal testing. According to the European Cosmetics Regulation, cosmetic products and their ingredients have been banned from being tested on animals since 2013. Therefore, the label "cruelty-free" is prohibited to prevent certain brands from marketing their products as being particularly cruelty-free. Independent seals indicate whether a product is truly 100 percent vegan. With Vegan Fox Germany products, you can be sure that no animals suffered and that all ingredients, from shower gel to body lotion, come from natural and plant-based sources. Furthermore, they do not contain microplastics or other harmful ingredients considered carcinogenic or hormone-altering.
